About Tristan Bell
My father started me off with a scooter at a local skateboard park in Mont-Tremlant, Quebec at age 6 and I excelled at it so he upgraded me to a skateboard and built me a halfpipe in our basement. I then was introduced to a Longboard at age 7 by a friend. I had really found my passion with this on the Mont-Tremlant hills where I really got good at Downhill. In the fall of last year at age 7, I competed in my first race with 5 hairpins . I decided to take up Snowboarding in the winter and learned to carve and big air jumps. I picked it up fast due to my skills in boarding. I now look forward to racing at Vernon DH and Maryhill Jr. World Downhill Championships in 2011. I am also hoping to enter the 2011 World Slalom Skateboard Championships in my age bracket to be held in Ottawa, Canada.
